Celebrity Style Bargain: Tracee Ellis Ross' Pink Sequin JCPenney Dress

For a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote her hit show 'Black-ish,' actress Tracee Ellis Ross wore a shimmery pink sequin dress from her upcoming capsule collection for JCPenney.

The limited-edition line - which launches November 12 - is a 45-piece collection that includes women's apparel in sizes small to 3X, priced from just $9 to $75. There are also a few home items and accessories, too.

Like most of the internet, I wish Tracee had styled the dress here with heels instead of sneakers. And loose curls to balance the volume of the dress, like she did in the lookbook. But she is still glowing in this sparkly number, which is absolutely perfect for all your holiday parties - and a steal at just $74! Also comes in gold.

Check Tracee's website to view the complete collection and follow hashtag #TER4JCP on social to see more.

Tracee's use of bright color is terrific. I like the reasonable price points. Will definitely be checking about that tuxedo when the time comes.

I think the idea is that sequin dress can be casual to and still be cute

I do see your point. I think the striped midi dress in the collection would look amazing with sneakers but I'm still not convinced the sequin dress works with a sporty shoe! :-)
