A Few of My Favorite Target Buys // March Edition

Target weekender bag in blush pink - need this for my next trip
It occurred to me recently that I talk about my latest buys on Instagram, but I don't always get around to sharing things on the blog. So today I wanted to share my latest buys from Target that I'm really loving and think you might like, too. I'm a little behind so these are items I bought back in March but they are all still available in stores and online.

The first item is this blush pink weekender bag by Mossimo, just $34.99 (also comes in the prettiest mint color). I'm 40 weeks pregnant in the above photo, and in the days leading up to my daughter's birth, I was oddly drawn to All The Pink Things. Not for her (we didn't know what we were having! Best surprise EVER) but for myself.

Needless to say, I took one look at this blush pink bag and needed to have it as my hospital bag. And since I went to 41 weeks, I ended up unpacking and repacking and OVERpacking my bag at least 16 times.

This is a generously sized bag with lots of compartments that you could use for the gym or travel. All the nurses at the hospital commented on it and asked me where I got it so that's a good sign!

As I mentioned, I was drawn to everything pink in the days leading up to my daughter's birth. I actually needed a new backpack because the strap on my old one ripped off, which is kinda sad because I really liked it (it was past season Kohl's). And I realized I literally couldn't survive one outing with my kids if I didn't have a backpack. I use it as a diaper bag and it keeps my hands free. So off to Target I went and immediately was drawn to this pale pink foldover backpack by Mossimo, just $29.99.

I saw a lot of styles I loved but this one was the perfect size with just the right number of compartments, so it's the one that came home with me. I absolutely love it. I've already gotten lots of compliments and questions about this backpack from strangers which I always take to be a good sign! I do not have any issues with it staying closed or the flap flipping up like some reviewers have said. Not sure what's going on there. Maybe they're overstuffing? I can fit diapers, wipes, my wallet, keys, phone, sunglasses, and snacks like Larabars and apple sauce pouches easily in this bag!

The pink seems to be sold out online so I linked it up in white plus a pale pink backpack by Universal Thread (love this one, too, but my store didn't have it in stock):

Next, I got this adorable pajama set (size medium for reference, $19.99) for the hospital. You really don't need to bring pretty jammies but at some point it's nice to shower, ditch the hospital gown and slip into something that makes you feel more "yourself." I packed a flannel long sleeve/long pant set AND a short set. Okay, I actually packed two short sets - totally unnecessary but like I said, the longer I went past my due date the more things I stuffed into my hospital bag.

Anyways, I love this cute set so much. It's soft and pretty and easy to unbutton for nursing. Treat yourself to some new spring pajamas, you won't regret it:

Finally, I bought this Universal Thread cardigan in (what else) blush pink ($24.99, size large for oversized fit) and it's always on repeat. Soft and comfy. And since winter is never-ending here in Connecticut, I'm getting a lot of wear out of it.

And that's it for March. I'd love to know what you're loving/buying/wanting from Target lately in the comments!
