Steph Curry Has a Plan to Keep Ayesha Curry's Twitter Fingers Under Control
Steph Curry and LeBron James are preparing for their final matchup in their fantastic NBA Finals series. But the defending champ and NBA MVP has something else on his mind, as well; his wife, Ayesha Curry who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately.
When asked on Saturday about how he was going to make sure his wife kept here Tweets under control, Curry joked that he might just have to take her off the grid, saying, "What's between me and Ayesha is - the conversations about what happened, that's gonna be handled. But other than that, that doesn't take any spotlight off of what my job is on the floor and what these next 48 minutes are going to be like in Game 7," Steph Curry said. "So that's kind of all I'm worried about. I might have to cut the Wi-Fi off at my house, though." He clearly doesn't seem too worried about the whole situation, but Ayesha has been a constant topic of conversation since the beginning of the series, and it may help her husband's concentration if she can try to keep her thoughts out of the social media sphere.
Ayesha has keyed off on James, and the NBA as a whole, calling the league rigged after the Warriors' Game 6 loss, tweeting, and then deleting, "I've lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money."
She later took to Twitter to apologize, and explain that the day had been hard for her and her family in more ways than one.
Steph, and the entire Curry family is looking ahead to Sunday's matchup now. With Currying saying Saturday, "But the way that we move on is win Game 7 and have a lot more fun postgame. That's really the best way to bounce back from an emotional loss." If they should lose, it will be fascinating to see what his wife's thoughts are.
