It's amazing how time to reflect can change your opinions.

LeBron James knows this because he has come around to putting some respek on Stephen Curry's name in regards to his back-to-back MVP win.

Three weeks after scrutinizing the 'valuable' part of Curry's latest MVP award — the first-ever unanimous MVP in NBA history — King James had a change of heart Wednesday.

Before his Cleveland Cavaliers tip-off with the Golden State Warriors in a rematch of the NBA Finals on Thursday night in Oakland, LeBron humbled himself, admitting his mistake.

"First of all, I made the mistake by even answering the question because I knew where it was going to go, and I guarantee how it was phrased to Steph wasn't how I answered the question," James told ASAP Sports, as reported by USA Today Sports. "So, obviously his reaction was what it was and I've been there before as well. So, Steph was definitely the MVP of our league and is the MVP in our league and is a great basketball player, and what he does for this league is amazing."

He added: "Then the question was asked if I had a vote what would the difference be between most valuable and MVP and I gave my opinion. So, obviously you guys ran with it."

The media definitely ran with it, enough for Curry to clap back, saying that he has "gotten really good at ignoring people."

Curry led the league in scoring, averaging a career-high 30.1 points per game, en route to leading the Warriors to an NBA single-season record of 73 wins. That would make him pretty 'valuable' to most NBA players, media and fans, but for whatever reason, LeBron used Curry's MVP win to scrutinize the 'valuable' part last month.

"I think sometimes the word 'valuable' or best player of the year, you can have different results," James, a four-time MVP who lost to Curry's Warriors in the NBA Finals last year, told the Associated Press three weeks ago. "You know, that's not taking anything from anyone that's ever won the award."

Bron, you're King James...you're supposed to be royally over being so petty. 

We're glad that at least he cleaned up his original statement and gave Steph his props.

Now let's see if it has any bearing on the NBA Finals.
