It looks like The Chainsmokers and Halsey aren’t as close as their hit song “Closer” implies. After singing together Sunday night (November 20) at the American Music Awards, Halsey got brutally real on Instagram.

“I love my dumb bald head,” she captioned the photo below. Last month, Drew Taggart — one-half the EDM duo — claimed his Twitter was “hacked” after a screenshot surfaced of his since-deleted tweet directed at Halsey: “Fuck you bald bitch.”

But let’s back up for a sec. At the beginning of October, The Chainsmokers trashed Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” in a Rolling Stone interview. Halsey then tweeted her support for Gaga, calling her an “icon” and one of her “greatest idols.” Taggart’s “bald bitch” comment appeared to be a response to that tweet.

Despite this, Halsey had only love to share at the AMAs. She even fangirled a bit after hugging Gaga. “Life made,” she wrote on Instagram.

At least something positive is coming out of all this ~drama~.
