In case you missed it (but honestly, how could you?), Kim Kardashian posted a naked selfie early Monday morning, and everyone promptly lost their damn minds.

While there was some positive fanfare complimenting Kim’s body and apparent fearlessness at sharing it with the world, others had more critical reactions. Chloë Moretz, for example, took the opportunity to condemn Kim for the message she may be sending to young fans.

“I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies,” the 19-year-old actress wrote.

Moretz wasn’t the only one with scathing words for Kim -- Bette Midler tweeted, "If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera.”

Moretz’s comments, at the very least, seem to have a noble intention behind them -- reminding Kim of her larger impact is important, even though it's perhaps overreaching for a businesswoman like Kim, who's famously used her body to break the internet before. Midler, on the other hand, makes a joke that’s just straight-up slut-shaming. Shouldn't Kim -- and anyone, for that matter -- have the right to be proud of her body without other women criticizing her so harshly?

Kim, for her part, seems completely unfazed by the negativity. She later said she was “flattered” by fans’ positive reactions, and posted a pic of herself laughing with the caption, “Reading my comments like…LOL.”

Looks like she has the last laugh after all.
