Watch Drake's 'Worst Behavior' Producer Make A Beat From Scratch

DJ Dahi whips up some magic

For my money, one of the best and most fascinating music-related video series online is Mass Appeal's "Rhythm Roulette," which selects a producer, has said producer grab three records at random, and films said producer flip and sample said records into some sort of typically great beat.

The latest called to the stage is DJ Dahi, known particularly for producing Drake's "Worst Behavior" and Kendrick Lamar's "Money Trees," and with credits for Wale and Big Sean as well as this year's Pusha T and Jay Z collab "Drug Dealers Anonymous" also on his resume.

After heading to Amoeba Music in Los Angeles, a blindfolded Dahi is tasked with a strange and eclectic combination, with vinyl selections of Torche’s Healer/Across the Shields, Lights’ Little Machines, and Neil Young’s Hawks & Doves.

He was up for the challenge.
