In breaking news that actually happened two weeks ago, Anne Hathaway has given birth to a baby boy.

The 33-year-old actress and her husband, Adam Shulman, welcomed a son named Jonathan Rosebanks on March 24, her rep confirmed to E! News. So, yes, the future heir to Genovia has existed in the world for 14 whole days and you didn’t even know about it. (But at least his regal-sounding name befits the throne.)

Hathaway and Shulman began dating in 2008 and tied the knot in September 2012. This is their first child together.

Rumors that Hathaway was expecting surfaced in November, though she only recently confirmed her pregnancy in January with a bikini shot showing off her growing belly.

“I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :),” she captioned the snap on Instagram, sending a “ha-ha” of sorts to the paparazzi. “Wishing you all love, light and blessings for the year ahead!"
