Is Tyra Banks’ Gig As Host Of ‘America’s Got Talent’ Over?

Tyra Banks strongly hinted to Access Live on Friday that she won’t be retuning to host “America’s Got Talent” next season.

“I think I had a really nice run with AGT, I had a lot lot of fun,” Tyra told Access Live. “I’m you know really focusing on Life Size and really focusing on a lot of- I’m going to be producing TV and I have a massive project starting next year. I’m not so sure,” she added.

But Tyra says if her time with the show is coming to an end, there’s definitely no love lost. In fact, she had a great time on the show since taking over as host in 2017.

“If I don’t come back I had a lot of fun. A lot,” she told Access Live.

Tyra already has several other big projects in the hopper, including her follow-up to “Life Size,” “Life Size 2” where she’s starring opposite Francia Raisa.

On the “America’s Got Talent” front, Terry Crews has been tapped to host the “America’s Got Talent: Champions” season, which premieres on January 7 on NBC. Access has reached out to NBC about Tyra’s future on the show.
