Not long after Judd Apatow publicly took Bill Cosby, his apologists, and a handful of Canadian venues to task via Twitter over the weekend, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris fired back Tuesday and Wednesday with some tweets of his own. Making it clear he wasn’t trying to defend the embattled Cosby (who’s facing several rape allegations), Barris nonetheless asked Apatow to tone down his social-media tongue-lashing, essentially saying that in the scope of the big-time comedy filmmaker’s own celebrity, his concentrated Twitter tirade has been odd and obsessive.
